So Lish and I have been swapping colds back and forth for the last month or so...talent is that we're both now sick with something very similar. Lucky us! if you're wondering what the cause of the illness is- we know with certainty that it is NOT strep throat (ask Lish about this one) and also it is NOT depression (although the tests are inconclusive) rumor has it the local NP may know what it is - just go ahead and ask her her opnion, she'll be glad to help you out.
So what is this cryptic message? Well see Lish figured out, finally, what I've been complaining about for years- Nurse Practitioners (95% of them at least) are full of crap - you're are NOT an MD, you are not Board Certified in the same way, and you DO need to listen to your patients and how they describe their symptoms- believe it or not they may actually know what they feel inside or what color their own mucus is!!!

Amen.
Dave says, "Don't forget, MDs always know what they are doing, too." [insert sarcasm here]
I will say one thing, the NP at the pediatricians office we go to is 100% better than the pediatrician, and a few other pediatricians I've encountered since Evie was born. She's a rarity. That's for sure.
Hey, my bro-in-law tells me that pharmacists know more than doctors anyway, so ask one of those....
RIGHT....
Hmmm...in my professional medical opinion: Prozac and PCN should take care of that problem.
